THLD1 Lower-Wrap Lowering Device
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This flying capstan is a lightweight friction device used to introduce friction in to a rope set up to aid controlled lowering of cut limbs.
Measuring 265mm x 230mm x 75mm and made from galvanised steel, the THLD1 is an economical lowering device, with its main advantages being light weight and ease of set up. Normally attached to the base of the base of the tree with a loopie or round sling, the lower-wrap can be used in conjunction with a mechanical advantage pulley system for lifting and lowering
It has been tested to a maximum breaking strain of 50kN which gives it a safe working load of 10kN.
The device comes in a handy zip-up canvas bag.
