AS 60 E-WeedHex – the weed brush for every application
The AS 60 E-WeedHex has evolved from the compact AS 30 E-WeedHex. With a working width of 60 cm, however, the AS 60 E-WeedHex weed brush offers increased area performance. It impresses with a powerful electric motor with a maximum output of 3.46 kW.
The brush carrier with 8 adjustable knotted brushes is set in rotation by operating the hand lever. The brush carrier rotates at only 180 rpm in ECO mode and 195 rpm in Turbo mode. The low speed of the brush carrier compared to a brush cutter reduces the risk of stone throwing to a minimum. By using the optional protective cloth, the spreading of dirt is reduced to a minimum. Swiveling the protective cloth to the right side of the machine results in depositing the swept material in swaths. This makes the subsequent disposal of the swept material much easier. The impressively high brush force is achieved by a mechanical reduction gear. It is virtually impossible to block the rotating brush during work. A metal ring around the brush carrier prevents the brushes from hitting corners, edges and obstacles.
The pneumatic wheels of the AS 60 E-WeedHex are mounted on ball bearings and allow it to negotiate high curbs. The machine is perfectly balanced. Pushing the machine by hand is almost effortless. When working in a straight line, the axle can be locked with lynch pins. This reduces disturbing lateral forces during work.
For better access to crevices, joints or edges, the machine has a lateral quick adjustment by hand lever.
